Nick Carroll

Founder

Since 1998 I have been developing and managing successful nursing agencies. I am proud to have sponsored and judged at regional care awards for a number of years. Making customers happy and agency staff feel valued is at the heart of everything I do. I am passionate about ensuring our services are provided efficiently and in a professional manner at all times – no excuses.

Charlie Goode-Bond

Clinical Advisor

Charlie qualified as an RGN in 2011. She is a non-medical prescriber and also a qualified health visitor. Charlie currently works as a band 8c in the NHS across primary and secondary care and social care. Her specialism is acute nursing, public health nursing, health promotion and dementia. Charlie works for Go Nursing as an agency nurse and in a clinical advisory role. She also helps with the recruitment and selection of agency nurses as required.

Yusuf Limalia

Technology

Yusuf is Nick’s righthand man and manages the ‘engine room’. He ensures that all our technology and social media platforms run smoothly. Yusuf has spent most of his life working in technology and has helped develop software used by the NHS and other large UK organisations. He has worked with Nick off-and-on for over 10 years.

Jo Wilkinson

Clinical Director

Jo qualified as a nurse in 1985 and advises Nick and the team on all clinical-related matters. Jo oversees nurse recruitment and assesses all nurses on their clinical competence before they start work. Jo retired from the NHS as Matron in 2022 after 37 years hard graft! She also continues to pick up ad-hoc agency shifts. Jo has extensive experience particularly within elderly care and dementia.

Sarah Box

Finance

Sarah keeps a watchful eye on the ‘numbers’ and advises Nick on all financial matters as required. She has decades of accounts expertise having previously worked at Finance Director level. Sarah and Nick have successfully worked together for over 25 years.

Harvey

Mascot/Security/Complaints

Harvey is Go Nursing’s mascot, head of security and complaints manager. He is extremely nosey and likes to keep a watchful eye on absolutely everything – when he’s not eating, walking, sleeping, chewing or playing. Harvey is 3 years old and comes from a champion bloodline so be warned...

Chris Easom

Business Development

Chris is all about customers. He’s responsible for looking after existing ones, as well as getting new ones too. He’s an expert in customer care and is passionate about providing high quality staff and service at all times, without compromise. He’s worked with Nick for over 10 years and also provides general business support and ‘on-call’ assistance as required.

Kerri Simpson

Care Quality

Kerri has worked in care for over 25 years and has managed multiple care homes. She holds an NVQ level 5 in Leadership & Management and is particularly experienced within elderly dementia care. Kerri helps in the registration process of all new care assistants by assessing their experience and suitability for work in a care home setting. She also provides ‘care quality’ guidance to Nick as required. Kerri has known Nick professionally for over 10 years.

Andrea Carroll

Administrator

Andrea manages all day-to-day office administration, including references and training compliance for agency staff. She previously worked as a training instructor, providing practical moving & handling and basic life support training to care homes. Andrea also has ‘hands on’ care experience, having previously worked in various care settings.
